Although the political dispute in the GCC has now largely stabilised, exemplified by the recent opening of the Bahraini airspace, the intensity of press and industry speculation continues, making it a difficult task for our customers to assess the truth of the situation. Despite the endless media analysis, the situation for us is very straightforward. Qatar Airways Cargo is running a businessĀas-usual operation.

Qatar Airways Cargo is one of the world’s fastest growing airlines serving over 140 destinations worldwide, that remain uninterrupted by the closure of four Middle Eastern countries. The vast majority of our global cargo operations, including flights to and from most of the Middle East countries, are functioning normally. Our Doha terminal is operating routinely; our network remains unchanged; there are no material delays to our schedule; our capacity offering is unaffected and our quality levels remain as high as ever. Furthermore, we are very confident that there will be no change to this position.

We also take this opportunity to thank you for supporting Qatar Airways Cargo. We recognise how important it is to have suppliers you can trust and our pledge to you is that we will not be taking short-term advantage of this situation: our pricing and capacity offering remains unaltered. Our focus has always been on lifetime value, not short-term gains. Our obsession with quality continues and above all, we promise to be open and honest with you throughout this time.

Qatar Airways continues to invest in new aircraft, state-of-the art facilities and technology, and with one of the strongest balance sheets in the industry (over US$5B in cash), we are firmly committed to our long-term vision for aviation.

Please feel free to contact us at any time via your local Qatar Airways Cargo sales representative. For queries on specific shipments, please address these to our central customer service desk in Doha at or call +974 4423 5077.
